The Wikimedia Foundation currently has five full-time employees. Everyone else involved with the projects is a volunteer, including members of the Board of Trustees. The Executive Director of the Foundation is Brad Patrick, who was appointed on an interim basis in June 2006 and also serves as legal counsel (see the press release).
