YOU ARE ...

...passionate about delivering educational content to billions of people, and engaging millions in its development, by seizing the opportunity that ubiquitous mobile devices represent. You want to bring coherence and vision to Wikimedia's mobile development strategy, while giving passionate engineers the space and freedom to figure out the "how". You are a highly organized strategic thinker who combines a love for clear analysis and presentation of data with a strong intuitive sense of what is urgent, and what can wait.

You understand the emerging challenges that are specific to mobile development, and see the opportunities for rapid experimentation. You are excited by the opportunity to not just work on an important website, but to carry Wikimedia's open source and free knowledge values into the mobile space, promoting the wider adoption of those values to counter the trend towards walled gardens.
