Page design

Hi. The current page design feels pretty rough to me. The big blue button isn't really obviously a button. The translations section grid is awkward (three images, three images, one image). And it probably makes sense to archive/clear away the older reports in order to reduce noise and increase signal. --MZMcBride (talk) 18:15, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Some thoughts:
  • The button is problematic due to the base mw-ui design, so there's not a whole lot that can be done about it here beyond making it narrower - as is, it looks like a header more than anything else. Unfortunately, narrower, it would still look like a header in the position it's in.
  • If keeping the older ones here, they probably don't need the whole description anymore. Just a single line/link each should be enough, with translations collapsed to fit as well. Otherwise, archiving them to a template or something would also make sense for the reasons above.
  • The translations in the 2010 one are a bit confusing, as they stand out more than most anything else on the page, but they're old. Archiving or collapsing the old ones would resolve this, however.
