Brandon Harris quote

"I don’t have a nine to five job, I have a 24-7-365 lifestyle.” - Brandon Harris

Can anyone explain (a) what this means; and (b) how it's relevant to this page? I'm lost. --MZMcBride 02:16, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Stop being intentionally difficult. You know what that means and what's its for and why it's there.--Jorm 02:55, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think posting to a talk page is being difficult. I honestly have no idea what the hell it means or what it's for. I can probably find a few others who are equally confused. --MZMcBride 03:20, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the feedback! We wanted to convey the sense of the people who work here that we love the WMF mission and from what I've seen in my short time at the Foundation, really think about things a /lot/. As an example, my husband doesn't think he's had a conversation with me since I started at WMF that didn't have some reference to work. :) (We're still figuring out if that's a good thing.) I DO think I'm very fortunate to love my job. That said, if the quote doesn't convey that and doesn't make sense for people, it's really good feedback and we'll keep evolving the page until it does. On prepositions

I believe the overarching "Help wanted for changing the world." should be changed to "Help wanted to change the world." Emphasis added only for illustration here, not to suggest it should be done on the actual design. "To" provides a stronger sentiment and flows a bit more naturally, in my opinion. Thank you! Page changed a little more. Tell me what you think! Gyoung (talk) 15:35, 24 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
