Hoi, I have been active in the WMF since 2003, my main activities are language related. As such I am a member of the language committee and am involved in the Betawiki localisation effort.

In my opinion the WMF needs to spend more effort in supporting languages. It is roughly 50% of our traffic and without giving language support priority, our effort in other languages suffers.
