About me

I have been a Wikimedian since 2003, contributing as a volunteer to the English and German Wikipedias as well as other WMF projects. I hold degrees in mathematics from the University of Cambridge and the University of Bonn.

My work

I started working for the Foundation's communications team in July 2011 as a contractor, and became a regular employee in May 2012. I am editing and publishing the monthly WMF reports, introduced the separate, translation-friendly Wikimedia Highlights format, worked on the WMF Annual Reports, co-founded and continue to co-edit the Wikimedia Research Newsletter, help curate our official social media feeds and form part of the group that takes care of the Wikimedia blog. My work involves the analysis of quantitative data and other research to understand and address movement communication challenges.
