:::Atually, yes! That's exactly what we're planning to work on. It's quite an involved process since the page is important to several major and foundation donors; their idea of elegant might not be everyones! ::::This wiki supports raw HTML, so I guess the possibilities are limitless, though making it match the Vector skin would probably be ideal. The most jarring aspect to me is the lack of balance in the columns. Maybe I'll throw some code in a sandbox if I have some time today. For what it's worth, [[Template:Benefactors]] is still using all sentence casing. I guess not many people see that as it's overridden per-page, though. --[[User:MZMcBride|MZMcBride]] 17:20, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

Alex! How's it going? Coming to the office any time soon? Sma 00:09, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sentence case vs. title case

I don't understand this edit. Sentence case is standard for wiki headers and is more international. Why did you change the casing to title case? --MZMcBride 16:56, 28 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi MZMcBride. The headers were changed to title case since it is more professional in the context of the page's representation of our benefactors. Our foundation donors especially care about what this page looks like. The original grammar of the headers was also inconsistent, with "Foundation Support" and "Major Benefactors" capitalized and the rest being in sentence case, so I wasn't aware that it might be an issue. Thanks for letting me know  :) I originally made the edit on the template instead of the page itself, so I've gone back and restored the template so as not to mess with the international versions of the page. Those can be customized based on what's appropriate for each language.
Thanks again for your insight. I'm on Gchat as mashidi@gmail.com if you need a quicker way to contact me. I'm told that you're an invaluable resource when it comes to mediawiki markup and policies, and being quite new to it myself, I hope you'll continue to help me out in the future :) -- Steven
Hmm, well, that entire page is pretty ugly. Are there any plans to spruce it up? I may take a shot if not. --MZMcBride 06:28, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
