Hi! Welcome to the website for the Wikimedia Foundation, the non-profit organization that operates Wikipedia and other free knowledge projects.

Unfortunately, wikimediafoundation.org does not allow open editing at this time; however, we want everyone to be able to contribute. If you have suggestions for how we could improve this site please use the links below:

edit Welcome to the Wikimedia Foundation website.

Thanks for being here! This wiki does not exactly follow the same rules as the other Wikimedia projects, since it is not open to all for editing, and in case of disagreement, the organ of decision will be the Board. A rule of thumb however is that if we gave you access, that means we trust you. So please, do not be shy in editing this site. There is ample work for everyone :-)

Transwiki

When you publish a page from Meta-Wiki like you did here, it would be helpful if you put a link to the actual page on Meta that copied it from (for GFDL reasons). Cbrown1023 talk 21:41, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, I didn't get it. You mean to have the link added to the Summary (comment)? ..or is there a better way? Infact, I couldn't find any such link added to the transwikied article [[1]] --Jacob.jose 21:49, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
Yes, in the summary. You could also mention the authors like I do here and Aphaia does here or just the page. :-) Cbrown1023 talk 21:53, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, I get it. :) --Jacob.jose 21:56, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
