- Women in Red and WikiGap have lists of women needing articles on Wikipedia. Both lists span multiple languages. Wikigap list and Women in Red list.
- For the #VisibleWikiWomen campaign for Whose Knowledge?, you can also find a list of women needing photos for their Wikipedia articles and resources for finding and uploading photos on Wikimedia Commons.
- UN Human Rights has also created a list of topics about women’s rights and women human rights defenders needing articles on Wikipedia.
Want to host an edit-a-thon with your community?
- Check out Art+Feminism’s running an edit-a-thon and creating a local event guides as well as WikiGap’s resource on how to run a WikiGap event.
- While public health concerns mean that many in-person gatherings are no longer feasible, you can still join and host edit-a-thons for Women’s History Month virtually.
- Volunteers from WikiProject remote event participation are coming together to share best practices and resources for hosting virtual Wikimedia events. Check out their page for more information.
