Purpose of Survey
We appreciate your feedback! Wikimedia is actively striving to improve our operations and activities. As part of our improvement efforts, we may, from time to time, seek public review and discussion of our issues through feedback mechanisms like surveys. This short survey will help us learn more about our users and evaluate how we can improve Wikimedia projects and services.
What Information We Collect
In addition to any information included in your responses, we may view other collected information including your IP address, when you started and completed this survey, and any other data provided by you or transmitted to us.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
With the exception of the circumstances described below, we will only share raw collected information with the Wikimedia staff, contractors, service providers, and volunteers who need to process this information and are subject to non-disclosure obligations. We may publicly share anonymized or aggregated statistics regarding the survey’s results, including on our websites and blog. We explain in greater detail here what types of information we treat as public information and what licenses apply.
We may, however, disclose any collected information when required by law, when we have your permission, when needed to protect our rights, privacy, safety, users, or the general public, and when necessary to enforce our Terms of Use or any other Wikimedia policy.

Wikimedia is a global organization committed to promoting free and open knowledge. By submitting your response, you agree to the transfer, storage, and use of the collected information to the United States and other places as may be necessary to carry out the purposes and objectives discussed above.
Wikimedia understands the importance of user privacy. For this reason, we work to protect our users from the unauthorized disclosure, use, or destruction of information we maintain. Raw data and personally identifying information (if any) will be deleted within 90 days. Non-personally identifying information and aggregated or anonymized information may be kept indefinitely.
