Archive talk:Agreement between chapters and Wikimedia Foundation
Given that not all chapters signed this agreement (some chapters did not sign it, and some chapters signed different version), the existence of this page is inappropriate and possibly illegal given that it states the existence of contractual relationships which are not the current accurate contractual relationship.
My suggestion is
- either scrap that page and replace it with a standard message saying that there are contractual agreements between chapters and WMF
- or provide agreements according to those signed (which will mean several variants of this page and will probably be a bit confusing)
I prefer option 1, and if so, we could upload agreements on meta and link this page to meta for details. But right now, the page as is is not acceptable.
- Option 1 seems best to me, though this is probably worthy of wider discussion (on foundation-l or one of the chapters lists). --MZMcBride 20:32, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
