Hi! I'm Maryana, one of the two Community Organizers at the Wikimedia Foundation.

From September 2010 to August 2011, I was a Fellow at WMF and worked on several projects, studying the editor trends and social dynamics of different language Wikipedias.
In my current role as Community Organizer, I facilitate projects that support and grow our editing community in all 280+ languages. At the moment, I'm working with Steven Walling on testing user warnings and other templates to improve their effectiveness, as well as organizing a series of global convenings to bring community members together for focused discussions on various topics.
