Hello! I'm Steven Walling, a Community Organizer at the Wikimedia Foundation. This means I do research and organizing projects that support the growth and continued health of the volunteer communities that are essential to [[our projects]] and fulfilling [[Mission statement|our mission]]. About me
Hello! I'm Steven Walling. I've been a contributor to Wikimedia projects since 2006 (see my volunteer userpage). In 2010, I joined the Wikimedia Foundation as part of the Fellowships program, and today I'm a staff member based in San Francisco.
My work
Here at the Foundation, I work to support the growth and continued health of the volunteer communities that build the projects and fulfill Wikimedia's mission. In plain English, I am the product manager for our Growth team, and am a part of the broader Engineering & Product Development department.
