About me
I studied Modern Culture & Media at Brown University and interned at Harvard University's Berkman Center for Internet & Society. As a Master's student at the University of Cambridge, I completed the first academic study of Instagram, focusing on the cultures of digital creative networks. From 2011 to 2015, I worked in digital marketing in New York City and played a lot of soccer.
I love Arsenal FC, coffee, whiskey, and watercolors.
My work
I work to raise awareness and usage of Wikimedia projects around the world. This starts with research, project measurement, and community consultation. Then I work with Wikimedia Foundation teams and Wikimedia community groups to develop messaging campaigns. Our resulting graphic design, video, press, social media, and blog materials help increase international understanding and appreciation for Wikimedia.
In short, I work to expand the global reach of free knowledge.
