Willkommen zum website von Wikimedia Foundation, Inc., eine internationale gemeinnützige Organisation für der Anregung des Wachstums und der Entwicklung des freien, mehrsprachigen, wiki-gegründeten Projekte, und zu den vollen Inhalt jener Projekte zur Öffentlichkeit kostenlos zur Verfügung stellen.
Wikimedia Foundation ist die Elternteilorganisation von einigen der größten gemeinschaftlich-redigierten Bezugsprojekte in der Welt und umfaßt Wikipedia, die berühmt InterNet Enzyklopädie. Andere on-line-Projekte umfassen Wiktionary, ein mehrsprachiges Wörterbuch; Wikibooks, eine Ansammlung freie zufriedene Lehrbücher; Wikiquote, ein Behälter der berühmten Anführungsstriche; und Wikisource, ein Behälter für Primärausgangsstoff.

Die Aufstellungsorte Wikimedia umfassen Wikipedia, eins der 500 besuchtest websites in der Welt,von Alexa.com aufgespürten, und andere Projekte in vielen Sprachen. Primärgebrauch unserer Kapital soll die Computerausrüstung kaufen, die benötigt wird, um diese Tätigkeiten zu stützen.

Mission statement
The Wikimedia Foundation is dedicated to the development and maintenance of free, open-content, online encyclopedias, collections of quotations, textbooks and other collections of documents, information, and other informational databases in all the languages of the world. This content will be distributed free of charge to the public under an open-content license such as the GNU Free Documentation License written by the Free Software Foundation Inc., or a similar licensing scheme.
The goals of the foundation are to encourage the further growth and development of open content, social sofware and wiki-based projects, and to provide the full contents of those projects to the public free of charge.
