We are looking for a Development Associate to help us in managing the Wikimedia Foundation's open-source donor database and overseeing development-related donor and prospect research and tracking. This is a critical role: 90% of the Foundation's revenue is derived from donations.
The Development Associate is a critical part of the Wikimedia Foundation's development team, responsible for major donor and foundation research, managing fundraising records and data, and managing funder customer service. The development team works together to raise the Wikimedia Foundation’s annual budget, as a part of the Community Department.


The ideal candidate will merge strong written and verbal skills, the ability to learn MediaWiki and CiviCRM (our donor database), and an attention to detail with a friendly personality and sense of humor.
