Could someone with the editing rights please create subpages for all the languages that templates, used on this page, are translated into? Thanks! Ата (talk) 09:42, 2 September 2023 (UTC)
- DFerrari-WMF, hi, maybe you can help here. In general, subpages for other languages are created either in the process of translation of the page or manually. The thing is, this page doesn't have its own translatable content and only transcludes text from other pages, and the first option doesn't apply. So I assume, that someone has to create subpages with the use of localised templates for all other languages, like you did for Spanish. Ата (talk) 17:17, 20 September 2023 (UTC)
- Or it can be done easier, by marking this page for translation and adding a dummy translation unit, like it is done with categories pages on MediaWiki wiki (example). Ата (talk) 14:08, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Ата: We are looking into this - but some of the key folks are away on leave. So it may take a bit longer for us to respond. However, we are looking into ways and possibility of utilizing the new translation system for this content. Will share more when we have an update, but did not want you to think we were ignoring this. --Gregory Varnum (Wikimedia Foundation) [he/him] (talk) 19:03, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
