| This resolution was passed at the February 1, 2014 meeting of the Board of Trustees. |
Resolved that the Board of Trustees approves the updated Trademark Policy, as presented by the Wikimedia Foundation's General Counsel. This policy was created after a thorough and wide-ranging consultation with the Wikimedia community to encourage expansive use of the Wikimedia marks while maintaining legal protection of those marks as appropriate.
