About me

I'm a Georgetown Law student, specializing in law of the Internet and new technologies. I am interested in opportunities to update existing policies and laws to keep pace with emerging technologies, especially in an international context. I'm a California native, with a journalism background. I completed my B.A. in English at UCLA. I like introducing people, giving impromptu speeches, and hosting themed parties.

My work

I work closely with WMF attorneys and staff on a variety of exciting legal topics, including: trademarks, copyrights, corporate governance, international law, and privacy. I conduct research, write memoranda, and attempt to avoid the Bluebook. I also help draft and edit blog posts and community responses. This summer, I made a really big poster.

Disclaimer: I work for or provide services to the Wikimedia Foundation, and this is the account I try to use for edits or statements I make in that role. The legal team can only represent the Wikimedia Foundation on legal matters, so we are unable to give legal advice to others, including community members, editors, or contributors. Communications with members of the legal team are not consultations and do not create any confidential relationship.
