I'd really like to minimize the use of raw HTML. [https://wikimediafoundation.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Staff_and_contractors&diff=78806&oldid=78801 This] can surely be achieved through other means (if it should be achieved at all...). Change the image syntax from "thumb" to something else? Using "thumb" and then hiding the border seems a bit silly.
