He's not listed currently. The criteria for when contractors get added to the staff page, are somewhat complex. I think it has something to do with both length and type of contract? (Some contractors are purposefully not listed, iirc). HR is in charge of all that, so if you want specific details, ask them. :) NWilson (WMF) (talk) 22:51, 24 April 2014 (UTC)

Possible impersonation/fake or simply in-expertise?

Hi Quiddity, on meta.wiki there's a new user that is trying to setup a user page in partly copying other users' data, and stating that they work for the WMF. Could you have a look, please? --M7 (talk) 11:55, 15 December 2023 (UTC)

Hi @M7, thanks for the note. Searching the text used there, it's a direct copy of this other userpage (with minor tweaks). They are definitely not staff, as we are firmly told not to create our own staff account. They may just be a person trying to experiment with formatting? Please go ahead and ask them not to do so, or blank it, or block them if they are impersonating staff in discussions, etc, as you see fit. Thanks again.
