About me
Former historian, current lawyer, perpetual writer.
I studied ancient history and archaeology before deciding to change gears and become a lawyer. Besides tech law, I have particular experience in immigration law and various flavors of civil litigation. (Also in filmmaking. It's a long story.)
I'm originally from Seattle, and I don't miss the rain. If I'm not at work, I'm probably reading (mostly sci-fi and fantasy), working on one of my many writing projects (mostly sci-fi and fantasy), playing video games (mostly...aw, you get the idea), or exploring and getting to know SF.
My work
As a legal fellow, I am involved with a variety of tasks and issues, supporting the Foundation’s lawyers as they work to advance its goals and support and protect the community. In addition to an interest in IP, I am broadly interested in issues of free speech, privacy, and online safety and civility.
