Open and transparent

If the Wikimedia Foundation is open and transparent (as they say they are), and they are going to be taking away civil rights from certain individuals, isn't counter to the "open and transparent" theme that... "Details about such individuals who are listed under the Event Bans list, may not be publicised to the communities at large and are generally confidential." Why is that? How do we know that the WMF isn't arbitrarily discriminating against a class of people, if we cannot review the people so banned and the rationales why? - Thekohser (talk) 13:24, 25 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
