Local chapters
The Wikimedia Foundation has begun to build a global organization structure. The first local chapter was founded in Germany. The next local chapter will be set up presumably in France.

Wikimedia Deutschland – Gesellschaft zur Förderung Freien Wissens e.V. (Wikimedia Germany - society for the promotion of free knowledge) is the German chapter of the Wikimedia Foundation, founded 13th of June 2004 in Berlin.
