| This resolution was passed February 2, 2013 at an in person meeting. |
Whereas, on July 31, 2006, the Advisory Board was created by the Board of Trustees to provide advice and support on issues relevant to the Wikimedia Foundation; and
Whereas, the Board of Trustees wishes to appoint all members of the Advisory Board on a consistent basis at its first in-person board meeting of each calendar year;
Resolved, the "Length of Service" for members of the Advisory Board shall be amended as follows:
- "Advisory Board members will be appointed for a term commencing on the day of appointment until the conclusion of the first in-person Board meeting in the following year, unless otherwise declined, revoked or renewed."
