About me

I have been an attorney for the Wikimedia Foundation since December 2015, having originally joined the legal team as a fellow at the beginning of that year. I am licensed to practice in Washington, and have registered as in-house counsel here in California.

I studied ancient history as an undergrad and graduate student before attending Yale Law School. Prior to joining the Foundation, I was a litigation associate at a large international law firm. My interest in IP law eventually lead me to Wikimedia.

My work

My work at the Foundation focuses primarily on privacy and civil liberties law. In addition, I work with the rest of the legal team on a wide variety of other issues.
