About me

Before joining the Wikimedia Foundation I worked for five years with Mercy Corps, spending two years in South America analyzing the cost effectiveness and social impact of improved land formalization systems. I studied Economics and Econometrics at Reed College. Through my career and volunteering I discovered an enduring passion for participatory processes and evaluation. I edit as a volunteer as bittakea. In my free time I cook elaborate desserts and ride my bicycle, sometimes for very long distances.

My work

I joined the Wikimedia Foundation in November 2014 and am working with the Learning and Evaluation team to surface and promote the best practices in and tools for program evaluation and design within the movement.
