Regional Manager, Strategic Partnerships for Middle East and Africa

About me

I was born in Jordan, attended high school in Cyprus, and went to college in the United States, where I earned my B.A. in Finance and Business Administration from San Jose State University. After graduation, I worked in the financial investment field in California before heading back to Jordan, where I helped to set up Columbia University’s newest Global Research Center. I then enhanced trade between the US and the Hashemite Kingdom as the acting CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan. Most recently, I traveled to Asia, Africa, and the Middle East to develop mobile partnerships for Mobile Accord in Washington, D.C.

I am fluent in English, Arabic, and Greek. In my spare time, I love to cook, listen to music from around the world, and watch my favorite football team, Arsenal F.C.

My work

I work with the Foundation's Strategic Partnerships team to develop and enhance the Wikipedia Zero project within the Advancement Department. I am the Regional Manager of the Middle East and Africa.
