| about me = I'm a process enthusiast.

I've lived in London, Denmark, Istanbul, New York, Massachusetts, and now I live in the East Bay in Oakland. Prior to that, [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Apple_Circus I traveled] for nearly all of my childhood. Having had the great privilege of learning from not one but many [https://twitter.com/mshmsh5000 mentors], any one of which would have been enough to sate even the most voracious Jedi-in-training, I was exposed to [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaizen Kaizen] while working at [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Do_Something DoSomething.org in New York]. I haven't stopped trying to improve since.

There is no cause I believe in more than transparency of information, and I'm awestruck to be a part of the Wikimedia Foundation.

| about my work = I work with the [[mw:Wikimedia_Engineering/Team_Practices_Group|Team Practices Group]], which supports [https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Team_Practices_Group/Health_check_survey WMF team health]. I believe whole-heartedly in WMF’s mission to create a more transparent, open-source information network, so I try to help create a space that asks good questions and challenges assumptions. My favorite thing in the world is a tight feedback loop. :)

Agile inherently drives for collectively building something bigger than ourselves. For that reason, it is a particularly fitting framework for supporting the WMF, an organization committed to some of the world's most significant open collaborations. Team health is critical to team success, and the Foundation's success, and I support that health through best practices in transparency, clarity, and trust.
