I was a journalist planning to move to the Middle East when the Internet, [[w:Hypertext|hypertext]] and online collaboration changed my life forever. Interested in [[w:Software freedom|software freedom]], freedom freedom and the ingredients of social happiness. [[w:Catalan language|Catalan]] and Spanish native speaker, I contributed mainly to [http://wikisource.org Vikitexts] before evolving into [[mw:Main|mediawiki.org]] and becoming a [[w:MediaWiki|MediaWiki]] hobbyist admin (for [http://espiral.org Espiral], my pet project). I starter working at the Wikimedia Foundation while living in with my trans-European family in [[w:Mountain View, California|Mountain View]] (CA, USA).
