About me
I've been editing Wikipedia since 2013 as Samwalton9. Starting off working on video game articles, I then shifted focus to working on scientist biographies and administration tasks, before getting involved with The Wikipedia Library in 2015 coordinating link metrics on a volunteer basis. Since April 2016 I have been a contractor as Partnerships Coordinator for the library.
My work
With The Wikipedia Library my role focuses on coordinating our partnerships with publishers, archives, and online reference works. This involves both reaching out to new potential partners and overseeing ongoing partnerships, focusing on access donation to Wikipedia editors and other initiatives benefiting the encyclopedia's editors and readers.
I also oversee the development of our Library Card platform and assist global coordinators with setting up global library branches and getting access to resources in non-English languages.
