About me

"When Sherah isn’t writing leeeeet, leeeet code, she can be found writing and performing comedy in various forms, reading excruciatingly depressing novels, and hiking all around the Bay Area. Like pretty much everyone, she loves to travel, but she likes doing it lazily (slow travel). She is also perpetually hacking on things, especially ridiculous apps and games in MeteorJS. Her spirit animal is the pizzacat and she prefers listening to records in a living room over going to see live music."

My work

I'm a (mostly Node) app engineer working with users, designers, and developers to make Wikipedia a more engaging place to learn. I build prototypes using MeteorJS and Swift, and love to talk to users about their experiences with features we're cooking up. In my time at the foundation (I started late 2013) I've built prototypes for WikiGrok, fundraising donations, and dashboarding tools. I also built an internal Node app for Fundraising that helps them monitor donations, fraud, and other info coming from campaigns. I'm most excited by working with users and prototyping beautiful experiences.
