About me

I am Tulsi Bhagat, an open-source enthusiast from Nepal. I was born on April 15, 1999. I am engaged in Wikimedia Movement since 2014. My home wikis are Maithili Wikipedia (mai.wikipedia.org) & Nepali Wikipedia (ne.wikipedia.org) but I am mostly active in the small Wikimedia projects. I have admin and interface-admin access in both of my home Wikipedias.

I use open-source information to empower various languages, and preserve the contents. User language of mine are ne-N, mai-N, en-3, hi-2, bh-2, hif-2.

My work

As a member of SWMT, I do fight with cross wiki vandalism and administrative tasks on my home wiki projects. I have created over 643 articles on maiwiki and 171 articles on newiki in order to develop and improve its content. I have 65k global edits on all Wikimedia projects, which made me one of the top Wikipedia contributors of Nepal. Moreover, I'm the first Featured Wikipedian from Nepal who has taken personal challenges i.e. and and successfully completed it.

Technology and technical work always attracts me to enter and explore the possibilities. I am also active on Wikimedia Phabricator, where I generally fix and patch Wikipedia bug. Apart from my online contribution, I am also active in offline Wikimedia events and activities. In 2018, I started as a resource person involving with Mediawiki Awareness and Training in Indic Projects. I played key role in organizing Wikicamp Nepal 2018 in Lahan. Moreover, As being volunteer member of Maithili Wikimedians User Group & Wikimedians of Nepal, I've guided, organized & taken part on various online & offline events such as Wikipedia Education Programmes, Mission 10, Wiki-a-thon, Wiki Loves Earth in Nepal, Women Edit-a-thon, Wikidata's 4th Birthday, Maithili Wikipedia Anniversary events, Wiki Loves Monuments. I am participated in WikiConference India 2016 and Train The Trainer 2018 as a full scholarship participant.
