About me
I joined the Wikimedia Foundation in April 2015 as Legal Counsel.
Currently, I also serve as pro bono counsel for Freedom of the Press Foundation and as a member of the Society of Professional Journalists. Prior to working at Wikimedia, I worked at The New York Times Company as the First Amendment Fellow where I helped manage the Times' litigation including, libel, subpoena, and FOIA work. I also did prepublication review and advised reporters on other matters. I also clerked for J. Rosemary Pooler, United States Circuit Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and was a Harvard University Sheldon Knox fellow. I graduated from Harvard Law School in 2011 and received a degree from Oxford University in Political Theory. Before pursuing the law, I was a journalist and graduated from Columbia Journalism School.
In my free time, I hike and write and read about feminism.
My work
