| about me = Since 2007, I have been working with volunteers to expand global access to technology and information. I have lived and worked in California, Ilinois, Albania, and Iceland and I speak fluent English and Shqip. I received a Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University in 2006 and spent two years in the United States Peace Corps between 2007 and 2009. I now live in San Francisco, CA, where I ride my bicycle to the Wikimedia Foundation office each workday. Outside of international grantmaking and free knowledge, my interests include music theory, US presidential history, ancient and modern languages, and backpacking. |

| about my work = I'm Winifred Olliff, Grants Administrator at Wikimedia Foundation. I work to support grantees across Wikimedia Foundation's grants programs, including Project and Event Grants, Individual Engagement Grants, Annual Plan Grants, Partnership Grants, and Travel and Participation Grants. I work with our legal and finance teams to oversee our administrative processes around grantmaking and also do the day-to-day work required to make sure grantees are eligible, grants are documented, grant agreements are issued and signed, payments are sent and received, and that we are following guidelines around reporting and using grant funds. |

As FDC staff, I also work closely with the FDC Senior Program Officer to support the Annual Plan Grants Program and the Funds Dissemination Committee that makes recommendations for funding through that program. In this role I support the FDC deliberations directly, publish staff proposal assessments and work with the Senior Program Officer to create summaries of quarterly reports and impact reports, and also support the FDC and the staff team in the continuous improvement of the FDC process. |

I also sit on the staff committee that awards Travel and Participation Grants to Wikimedia contributors. |
