::Hi DFox and welcome to our wikis! I noticed that your user page is quite plain at the moment so I thought I'd let you know how to use the "template" that we typically use for staff user pages. If you look at Alice's user page, which is at [[User:ARoberts]], you can see an example of the format you can get your user page to be in. I'm happy to convert your user page for you, but I think it would be much better for you if you learnt how to do it yourself! |

::The easiest way of getting your user page in that format is by clicking the "Edit" tab on [[User:ARoberts|Alice's user page]] and copying everything you see there (starting with '''<nowiki>{{user info</nowiki>''' and ending with '''<nowiki>}}</nowiki>''') into your own user page, then adjusting it by putting your own name, bio, about your work and contact details. If you have any questions, let me know - I'm more than happy to guide you through the process. <tt>:-)</tt> [[User:Thehelpfulone|<font color="red">'''The'''</font>]][[User talk:Thehelpfulone|<font color="black">'''helpful'''</font>]][[Special:Contributions/Thehelpfulone|<font color="red">'''one'''</font>]] 18:51, 2 October 2012 (UTC) |

edit this template Welcome to the Wikimedia Foundation wiki
Thanks for being here! This wiki does not exactly follow the same rules as the other Wikimedia projects, since it is not open to all for editing, and in case of disagreement, the organ of decision will be the Board. A rule of thumb however is that if we gave you access, that means we trust you. So please, do not be shy in editing this site. There is ample work for everyone :-)
- Please create your userpage with a short biography and other introductory information about yourself and the work you do. You may want to use the {{user info}} template. Feel free to look at other user pages for examples.
- All organizational pages may be found in the special category.
- For those willing to help with translation, please see m:Translation requests, and in particular the Foundation subpage /WMF.
- Please watch for feedback on Meta-Wiki and start discussions there.

- Hi DFox and welcome to our wikis! I noticed that your user page is quite plain at the moment so I thought I'd let you know how to use the "template" that we typically use for staff user pages. If you look at Alice's user page, which is at User:ARoberts, you can see an example of the format you can get your user page to be in. I'm happy to convert your user page for you, but I think it would be much better for you if you learnt how to do it yourself!
- The easiest way of getting your user page in that format is by clicking the "Edit" tab on Alice's user page and copying everything you see there (starting with {{user info and ending with }}) into your own user page, then adjusting it by putting your own name, bio, about your work and contact details. If you have any questions, let me know - I'm more than happy to guide you through the process. :-) Thehelpfulone 18:51, 2 October 2012 (UTC)
