Template:Disclaimer for translation

Hello. I would like to tell you a few things. In your earlier edit, you changed the text in the template to the italic type, which is problematic for people in some areas. In some countries in East Asia, such as Japan, or other regions, the type is not used or common. It is because the italic type is a typeface used for handwriting in Western languages. Please understand that some areas do not use this. Also, if you don't mind, please improve the template so that it can display text switching types. Thank you. --TKsdik8900 (talk) 06:43, 8 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

@TKsdik8900:Interesting - and good to know - thank you! I will make note of that and also work to improve the template over the coming weeks. Thank you for your constructive feedback - it is greatly appreciated! Gregory Varnum (Wikimedia Foundation) [he/him] (talk) 06:45, 8 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thank you @Koavf for the notice. I have gone ahead and blocked them here as well. --Gregory Varnum (Wikimedia Foundation) [he/him] (talk) 06:49, 1 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Possible translate import problem

Hello Gregory. We think there may be a problem with the translate, import, or PageMigration extension losing licensing information. (c.f. meta:Special:PermaLink/25261954). I'll open a ticket for the issue.

Can you provide exact step-by-step directions for how you are making edits such as this one? Notice that while it certainly says you made the page, it suggests it came from elsewhere, but does not include any attribution of where it came from.

Thank you! (Please ping on reply). Xaosflux (talk) 11:55, 5 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
