Can this site be classified as semi-fishbowl

As unregistered users cannot edit or translate anything and registered users only have ablity to edit talk pages and user pages, and translating content, also creating an account is disabled. Can this wiki be considered "semi-fishbowl"? ToadetteEdit (talk) 20:03, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request for translation administrator rights

Hi, I have been cleaning up some vandalism in my capacity as a global sysop. Since I am not a translation admin here, I am not able to delete translated pages (like Agenda:2016-04-22/bm, not a translation). LincolnBot broke Template:Decade years navbox

In Special:Diff/361758 LincolnBot changed the "cat_prefix" parameter to "cat prefix" in Template:Decade years navbox. Note "cat_suffix" was not changed. By changing the parameter, Template:DMCA category by year (which uses the "cat_prefix" parameter) no longer links to the correct categories. For example, as of 27 March 2024 if you go to Category:DMCA 2023 you'll see that in the DMCA category by year nav box that "2022" no longer links to Category:DMCA 2022, it instead is linking to Category:2022. This is because the template Template:Decade years navbox is no longer recognizing the prefix passed in by Template:DMCA category by year. —RP88 (talk) 19:25, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Module:No globals

-I've edited many pages to fix small things (see below), but above all, I built '''[[User:Jd/Inventory|an inventory]]''' of the web site. I think we ''ought'' to clean up this wiki or it will be as messy as Meta soon :) There are.. many pages to be deleted, many pages to be categorized, many pages to be enhanced. See my inventory for the details, and also my [[User:Jd/Proposal|proposals]] about some specific points. I asked Angela, Anthere and Michael about the possibility to be admin here, so at least someone (who has time and will) can take care of the website. Basically, I volunteer for the maintenance of the wiki (check wether translations are up to date and monitor Meta related stuff, check that templates are used in the good way, delete orphaned, enhance pages, contact new translators and so on) o/ Just ask :)

I mean, we might get rid of the traditionnal monobook stylesheet and have the wiki wearing a nicer, fancier, smarter skin which would fit both the wiki spirit and more traditionnal needs.
