Chapter and Thematic Organization Recognition
Whereas, the Affiliations Committee has reviewed the work of [name of proposed chapter or thematic organization] and advised that this group is ready for recognition as a Wikimedia [chapter or thematic organization]; and
Whereas, the Board of Trustees wishes to recognize and welcome [name of proposed chapter or thematic organization] as a Wikimedia [chapter or thematic organization] dedicated to supporting and promoting the Wikimedia movement;
Now, therefore, be it resolved that the Board recognizes [name of chapter or thematic organization] as a Wikimedia [chapter or thematic organization], provided that [name of proposed chapter or thematic organization] accepts and complies with a Wikimedia [Chapter or Thematic Organization] Agreement. The Board instructs the Executive Director to offer a Wikimedia [Chapter or Thematic Organization] Agreement to [name of proposed chapter or thematic organization]. This agreement will govern the [chapter's or thematic organization's] recognition and provide the [chapter or thematic organization] with specific permission to use the Wikimedia trademarks.

Annual Plan Approval
